What items can you actually donate versus recycle or dispose of?
Generally, anything still functional and in decent condition can go to donation, furniture without major damage, working appliances, electronics that still power on, and household goods in reusable shape. Items that are broken, heavily worn, or unsafe get recycled or disposed of instead. Our crew makes that call on-site so you don’t have to guess ahead of time. Do you provide a donation receipt for tax purposes?
Yes! Whenever your gently used items are delivered to one of our certified local donation partners that provides tax-deductible receipts, we are happy to obtain and pass that documentation along to you. Because receipt issuance depends on the specific receiving facility’s policies and item eligibility, simply inform our team during your initial booking or prior to your pickup date. We will make sure to track the drop-off with a receipt-issuing partner and deliver your tax documentation as soon as the item is processed.
Can I schedule a donation pickup without being home?
Yes. As long as we have clear access to the items and have confirmed the details with you beforehand, our crew can complete the pickup without you present. This is common for estate cleanouts and move-outs. We’ll send a confirmation once the pickup and drop-off are complete.
How fast can you pick up donation items?
In most cases, same day. Call or text before noon and we can typically get a crew out that same day, Monday through Saturday from 7 AM to 7 PM. Do you serve areas outside of Baltimore for donation pickups?
