Do I need previous junk removal or demolition experience to apply?
No prior experience is required for most crew positions. We train every team member before they go out on a job. You will learn proper lifting techniques, how to handle different types of items, how to operate equipment safely, and what our customer service standards look like on site. What matters most is that you are physically capable, dependable, and ready to work. If you have experience in moving, hauling, landscaping, construction, or a similar hands-on role, that is a bonus but it is not a requirement to get started.
What does a typical day look like working with Charm City Haulers?
On a typical day you will show up at our Baltimore base at 1012 N Eden St, get briefed on the day’s jobs, load up, and head out with your crew. Jobs range from single-item pickups to full property cleanouts and light demolition projects like shed removal or deck demolition. You will interact with homeowners, property managers, and business owners across Baltimore and the surrounding counties. At the end of every job the area gets swept clean before you leave. It is physical, fast-paced work with a team that takes quality seriously.
What areas of Baltimore and Maryland will I be working in?
Our crews run daily routes across Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County, Harford County, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, and Washington DC.
